Vancouver is one of my favorite cities in Canada. This city is a melting pot of cultures and people.
Vancouver, a bustling west coast seaport in British Columbia, is among Canada’s densest, ethnically diverse cities. A popular filming location, it’s surrounded by mountains and has thriving art, theatre, and music scenes.
Favorite Places to Stay
Pan Pacific Vancouver
This is an incredible hotel near the area that cruises pull-in and dock. You can also see the seaplanes taking off and landing from this hotel. I once flew on a Seaplane from Seattle to Vancouver. It was an easy walk from the dock, where the plane landed, to the hotel. That was a unique experience.
You can’t get much closer than this; the ship pulls up to the hotel.
Fairmont Vancouver
This is another excellent hotel very near the cruise port. It has a grand lobby and is in a fantastic location.
Both hotels are near the Gastown area, which is cute and neat. Find out more about this part of Vancouver here.
